Trip of a Life Time

My name is Melissa, I'm 21 years old, and I am about to embark on a trip of a life time. About a year ago I applied to a study abroad program called Semester at Sea. It all started when I was talking to one of my friends, telling her that I would love to study abroad, but my ideal trip would be to live on a boat for a semester. About a week later she called me up and told me about Semester at Sea. I immediately agreed. So my friend, Sarah, and I are about to start a 3 1/2 month long trip on a giant ship traveling to 11 different countries and exploring places and cities that most people never even think about going to. I am so excited. And I wanted to start a blog because a trip like this should not be kept with in the program. As a psychology and elementary education major I want to give the opportunity for people to learn about places they would other wise not read about. I want to give people an fun and easy way to find out about other culture and places and maybe even expand some peoples curiosity to make them want travel as well. So read on and keep up!
